• She is the best teacher that I ever had. Ms.Kanae really cares about her students and she always puts forth her best !Not only that, but she is unbelievably kind. At the same time she is still honest and will critique you to become a better musician. Having Ms.Kanae as a teacher has been amazing and she’s taught me so much in the time we’ve spent together. •  I have been playing piano with Ms.Kanae for 4 years. She helped me with a lot of songs. The one that she’s helped me the most with is Hedwig’s theme from Harry Potter, and that is what I did for my school talent show. It is also 5 pages long! We had to change the notes a little bit, but it worked really well. Right now I am working on Let It Go from the movie Frozen, which isn’t as hard, but it is 9 pages long!  (Natalie, 10 years old )

• Ms. Kanae is an amazing pianist who really knows how to teach! Despite being very naturally talented, she could guide an adult beginner student step-by-step very patiently (she wouldn’t get mad!) Her lesson is very fun and motivating. In addition to that, she is able to flexibly adjust her lesson depending on our load and passions which is very important for a working adult student like me. In Ms. Kanae's lessons she has taught me about phrasing and how to use my arms which I’ve never considered before. This provided me many ideas and moreover it was a productive lesson for me. After taking Ms. Kanae's lessons I learned the deepness of the music and how the professional pianists create their pieces.
