Teaching piano lessons fills my days with joy. I love teaching and introducing the joy of music. I enjoy making lessons a fun and exciting event of the week by incorporating educational games and manipulatives into each lesson.
In Home Lesson
I offer only In Home English or Japanese piano lessons (coming to your house once a week) mainly in Minato-ku,Tokyo.
Azabu, Roppongi, Hiroo, Akasaka, Aoyama, Shirokane-Takanawa

Textbooks
We will use No.1 popular American textbook called Faber & Fabers’ Piano Adventures Piano Lesson Bookseries for begginer and intermediate students. For begginer students, you will learn easy famous songs such as "Old MacDonald Had A Farm" or "Yankee Doodle" etc. If you prefer to study American popular songs, we will also work on it. For intermediate to advanced students, we will mainly play classical music but pop music as well.

The American Guild Examination
Kanae Hirazawa Piano Studio is officially recognised by Guild. The American College of Musicians/ National Guild of Piano Teaches (ACM). Guild is an official examination which the well known American musician and winner of International Tchaikovsky Competition, Van Cleburne has also taken. Every year 11 million people in the States participate to take the Guild examination. ACM also offers this examination in Tokyo once a year around Feb- March.
The Guild examination report card is examined by 43 criteria and regardless of age, genre, you will be scored precisely. You will also receive a report card which includes comments from the judges and will receive an English certificate.
